A computerised tomography (CT) scan can be used to help diagnose conditions and guide treatment, the CT scan uses x-rays to create images of the inside of the body.
A magnetic resonance (MR) imaging scan uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body.
